§ 18-12. Nick Strange Road speed limit.

(a)

A maximum speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour for all automobiles is hereby fixed for that certain parish road known as the Nick Strange Road, Ward 4; however, for any vehicle the operation of which requires a commercial driver's license (class "A", "B" or "C") or a chauffeur's license (class "D"), as defined in R.S. 32:408B, a maximum speed limit of twenty (20) miles per hour is hereby fixed for the Nick Strange Road, Ward 4.

(b)

Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), or imprisoned in the parish jail for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or both.
