§ 19¾-6. Financing.

With respect to the financing of the planning commission and its work, the commission and the governmental bodies composing same, shall make all reasonable efforts to obtain such federal and state grants or subsidies as may be available; the balance of the cost of operation shall be borne proportionately by the governmental bodies composing the commission and in this respect it is agreed that the contribution of the respective bodies shall be according to population and that the City of Pineville shall pay an amount proportionate to what its population bears to the population in the entire planning area, and the City of Alexandria shall pay the percentage which its population bears to the entire population of the planning area and the balance shall be paid by the police jury and/or any other governmental bodies which may subsequently decide to participate.
