§ 2-3.3. Disclosure of business interests of police jurors voting on parish contract awards, etc.

  • (a)

    Any juror who is owner, partner, stockholder or officer in any business or corporation doing business with the Rapides Parish Police Jury will list his business connection with the chairman of the committee, or the president of the jury when any vote is being cast by that juror which could lead to a contract or any favorable action on the part of that business or corporation.

    (b)

    The failure of a juror to disclose this information and refrain from voting would leave grounds to invalidate that contract or action taken.
